Subjective rating

    Subjective quality rating of progressive image reconstruction based on HabibViewer program. It makes possible to set some decoding parameters of JPEG 2000 image.

    Reconstruction of different number of layers:

a) 2 layers

 b) 8 layers
c) 20 layers

 

  

    Reconstruction with different number of bytes:

a) 2KB

 b) 10KB
c) 20KB

 d) 48KB

    Process of progressive image reconstruction based on ImageComparer application.

    Ilustracje poniżej obrazują przebieg rekonstrukcji obrazu flowers.  Został on skompresowany do formatów JPEG, JPEG progresywny oraz JPEG 2000 o bardzo zbliżonych wielkościach plików. Przeprowadzone badania przedstawiają obraz uzyskany po wczytaniu odpowiednio 4, 8, 13 oraz 50 procent każdego z plików.

    Przebieg rekonstrukcji pliku JPEG:

a) 4%

c) 13%

 d) 50%

    Dla powyższych przykładów wyznaczono błędy średniokwadratowe w poszczególnych fazach dekodowania obrazu za pomocą informacji dostarczanych przez program ImageComparer.
